is an Ayurvedic herbalized oil, highly valued for nourishing, strengthening and rejuvenating the whole physiology. It balances all body types (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), and promotes ojas which is the first and finest material expression of matter in the physiology. Ksheerabala oil acts as a rasayana which nourishes all the tissues in the body. It relieves stress, strain and ache, and improves sleep and mind-body functioning. The main ingredient of Moo Matri Ksheer Bala Oil is fresh nourishing ahimsa* cow's milk. Only cow milk has the 10 properties which are exactly identical to the 10 properties of ojas**.
The second ingredient is organic Bala (Sida Cordifolia), which is a potent neuroprotective herb. It is a well known nervine tonic and alleviates pain and nerve irritation.
The third ingredient is organic sesame oil whose properties*** enhance the effects of both the cow's milk and the bala and allow it to be absorbed through the skin. We also offer Ksheer Bala oil with an organic coconut oil base for those who prefer that.

** The 10 properties of ojas are : Madhar—sweet, Sheeta—cold, Mrudu—soft, Snigdha—unctuous, Bahalam—density, Shlakshana—smooth, Pichhila—slime, Guru—heavy, Manda—slowness, Prasnnaam—clarity. Therefore milk, having identical properties of ojas, is conducive to the promotion of ojas. Thus milk is an elexir par excellence.
*** The properties of sesame oil are:
Snigdha—unctuous, Ushna—hot in potency, Madhura—sweet, Tikta-Bitter, Kashaya—astringent, Katu—pungent, Twachya—good for skin, Krshya—good for hair, Balya—strength promoting, Vataghna—alleviates the vitiation of Vata, Kapha and Pitta, kruta—aggravates Kapha and Pitta.
